Hero Honda Glamour Despite scoring high on the style quotient, the Hero Honda Glamour fails to introduce new features and ends up as a clone of the Super Splendor. Chequered decals that run the length of the bike lend a glamorous touch to the Glamour. The front mudguard of the Glamour sports a dual-tone theme that is also carried over on the chain guard.

The Ambition is equipped with an air-cooled, four-stroke and single cylinder Quantum Core engine with a 124.8cc displacement. But the engine lacks substantial punch and it takes the Glamour 7.37 seconds to zip from rest to 60kph.

The Glamour ensures an upright and commuter-friendly riding posture, with twin telescopic-forks and dual rear suspension. The bike incorporates thicker rear rubber in order to facilitate efficient handling.

The Glamour does pretty well on the mileage front. Well thought-out gear ratios, a de-stressed motor and roller bearings on the rocker-arm fingers all work towards enabling a healthy mileage. On city roads, the Glamour returns 55.2 kilometres per litre while on the highway, it turns in a creditable 58.3kpl.
